Enjoy some time at the wheel with a private pottery session for one or two people at James & the Kiln.
Designed for complete beginners and those looking to build confidence on the wheel, these private throwing sessions offer a calm and supportive introduction to working with clay. With more focused, individual guidance, they’re ideal for beginners wanting extra support or throwers looking to improve their skills.
With guidance throughout, you’ll learn the core techniques of throwing, including centring, pulling, and shaping forms.
Session details
Private 2 hour throwing lesson
All clay, tools, glazing, and firings included
Two finished pieces (per person) included in the session price
Additional pots can be kept for £5 each
After the session, your chosen pieces will be glazed and kiln fired, ready to collect at a later date.
No prior ceramics experience needed.
